UG 29 A F1-Rootstock for melon and watermelon

UG 29 “A”   is an hybrid cucurbita maxima x muscata.

Succesfully used as watermelon rootstock mainly for fields infected by fusarium and anthracnose.

Strong rooth system good for Sandy soils.

Does not effect on watermelon taste.

Best germin. Temperature: 22-25 °c.

Sowing time with hybrid: 6 days.

Desease resist: fusarium oxysp., Phomopsis scleroides, rhizoctonia spp., N, collechtotrichum orbiculare(anthracnose).
